Heavy RP & Mechanics / Moderate Combat for an AP.

Permitted/Restricted Player Options: Characters will be considered based on concept. See below.
Setting/Adventure Info: Running the Rise of the Runelords AP.
They say if you want a certain type of game; run it. I want to lean into use of the odder mechanics. Fame; Prestige; Downtime;Buildings;NPC attitudes; Magic item availability; Crafting. Even trying to track time. Because of the extensive use of sub-systems I'm interested in character concept and level of interest in a tracking heavy campaign; how you plan to use them.
My goal is a good time not being a slave to these systems and some might get abandoned but I've always wanted to lean into them. Read the Rise of the Runelords players guide before coming up with your character concept. Build into the Varisia-ness of the setting. You are a band of heroes being thrown into the cauldron of great events; but you still need to live in the world you are being forced by circumstance to save. We all know the shape of the AP I think, broad strokes. Lean into it. Totally vibes based. Post or DM your character concept and which subset rules you are looking forward to. Fit into Varisia. Are you looking to clean up Junker's Cove? Are you expanding Desna workship in the region? Establishing trade? Disrupting the scarneti?
Duration - 2 to 4 hours sessions.
