I have had FGU crash several times recently and twice while l left my table up and walked away I have had the computer freeze up and I get a BSOD. Nothing else is running and i am not actually doing anything. Once time when i was on and FGU crashed during a session I also had the BSOD.

If it is truly a full BSOD and not just a crash to desktop; this means that something has gone wrong in a protected memory space (like the OS or a driver). If it was a pure coding issues, operating systems typically show a dialog with an error report and close the offending application. The only real thing we changed with the underlying graphics engine is to upgrade from Unity 2022 LTS to Unity 6 LTS.
Most likely, FG is exercising some part of your memory, disk or graphics card/driver that triggers the BSOD. I haven't heard of any other BSOD reports on any operating system at this time.
Perhaps the newer Unity engine is using your computer in slightly different ways than before which is touching a bad component or region; or perhaps something has gotten worn out or loose on your system?

More details will help. Like what do the FG logs show? What about your system logs? And of course, what rulesets, extensions etc? And have you updated your graphics drivers? Or tried rolling them back?

I don't know what my logs show and I was either running traveller or Rolemaster with a few extensions like language and ships locker for traveller. Not many extensions and the only mods are what i purchased. Where are the logs located again? My graphics drivers are all up to date, but i don't think rolling them back makes sense just for FGU. I use my computer for other things. I have a 4090 card. But if you can point me in the direction of which logs i should look for system or FGU ones or both i could share those, but Im' not sure where to find them and which ones are relevant.

Did you get the details of the BSOD? Otherwise, the Windows event viewer usually captures some details at the time of the BSOD.

As I mentioned, BSOD errors means that something that an application is doing is taking down whole OS, which can only happen in OS or driver code. So, if caused by FG, it is most likely because Unity engine is running code that the driver does not handle well.
Can you grab the Unity logs right after it crashes?
The Unity logs are located at:
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\LocalLow\SmiteWorks\Fantasy Grounds\Player.log and Player-prev.log

Question, how long did you step away from your computer? I wonder if it might be something in the screensaver / power saver options that might be triggering it?

Well i don't know an hour, but i don't have screen saver set up and i have three monitors. I do think it goes to sleep, but twice it crashed during a game i was running last saturday. One crash froze the computer and BSOD

Okay, I failed my reading comprehension check :). I thought all the times had been when you walked away.

I'm only seeing a standard startup and shutdown in those logs. I'll need the logs right after it crashes.
