License Conflict when opening second instance

Today I encountered a license key conflict when trying to join my game with a second instance. Previously, I didn't get this issue. It's probably been a few months since I have tried. Has anything changed to prevent joining a game with a second instance?

When people have reported that in the past; a simple reboot of the computer has cleared up the issue.
