Hi

We are using 5e and using the module Shadow of the dragon queen...
A player has a cloak of protection the bonus to armor class is added automatically to his character sheet but not the bonus to saves...

Is the solution to add a +1 in the modifier under the chat... before he rolls a save.

or is there another way to bump up his saves by +1

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Add the following effect to the character in the combat tracker (can be implemented through an action from the CS too).

Cloak of Protection; SAVE: 1

Here is a link to the all of the 5E effects that can be used.

Unless you are using an extension the +1 to the AC won't get added either.

Without an extension the Effect would be AC: 1; SAVE: 1 set the targets to self and the expend to never.

Good Day Korvaak :)
If I remember correctly even the added AC will not show on the main tab of the character sheet. It will show in the chat box when attacks are done though as [DEF EFFECTS +1]. A saving throw will show as [EFFECTS +1].

This is, of course, with no extensions loaded, if there are extensions it might change the way this works. :)

Whoops! Forgot about the AC part :D

Thank you Zacchaeus, claedawg, and Bonkon.

Yes I was wrong, my player said he added the armor class +1.
