PayPal being the only payment processor is a risk to all of us. PayPal is extremely censorious. PayPal was the only company I ever worked at that had someone literally come to my place of work to blow up the company, we got security and walls shortly after that. When your company is frankly that crappy to individual people its a problem. Now Paypal is banning transactions in a lot of countries now outside of the West for Steam. Why would PayPal not block Fantasy Grounds sales overseas now as well? I've used Digital River at a large video game company to run their store about 20 years ago, not sure if that would be an option.

Just checking if there will be a secondary option in case PayPal decides they really don't Pathfinder, they want to only support Hasbro now. I'm being facetious here, but PayPals internal behavior is lining up with the Satanic Panic and the Bothered About D&D groups from the 80's. Just want a secondary payment processor if possible please. And again, I worked at PayPal 20+ years ago, they had some bad behaviors back then but today its not good for any business especially games looking at Steam.

You can use a credit card without registering for PayPal.

Credit Card processing is handled by PayPal.

Venmo is owned by PayPal.

FG only has one payment processor at this time. PayPal can decide what games Fantasy Grounds is allowed to sell now, its the Satanic Panic on steroids.

There are enough real issues and projects to work on that we don't really need to focus on hypothetical situations. In addition to being available through Steam, we could migrate to another platform if we had to. There is a cost involved with doing so that we would not want to undertake unless we had to.
