View Full Version : Locked image layers behaving strangely

I've noticed a problem that has perhaps flown under the radar, or maybe it's a known bug, but I'll mention it here anyway;

When an image layer is locked, you can still accidentally move it, sometimes. To trigger the bug, draw onto the map with the drawing tool, over the top of an existing locked image layer, and then create a new paint layer. Hover your mouse cursor over the painted portion with the paint layer selected, and grab it to move the paint layer around.

It seems you can only trigger the bug once, either only after you've created a brand new paint layer, the first time you attempt the above steps after opening an image, or after opening a campaign, I'm not sure what the exact conditions are to replicate it, as I only seem to be able to provoke it some of the time. When the bug occurs, the cursor almost seems to 'slip' from the paint layer onto the locked image, and you can move it as long as you keep the mouse button depressed.

I've noted the same behaviour with other kinds of image layers as well (allowing you to move layers beneath, that should be locked), but this was the most recent instance.

Thanks for reporting. I've filed a ticket for Carl to review.
