View Full Version : Script Execution Error: 157: attempt to index global 'stateicons' (a nil value)

I have a player at my table that is getting this error constantly (See screenshot attached). This seems to be related to seeing the pips that you can tick off for spells, abilities, and the like, in the actions tab. When he took a screenshot of his character, it seems to have been replaced with a numerical value, but the player states he can do nothing with it. No one else at the table has this issue, and this issue only occurred the moment he updated to 4.8.0. I had the player attempt to make a new character sheet, to see if the issue persisted, and it did. The player has no extensions running, and neither do I as a GM (Though again, no one else is experiencing this issue either.)
Is there any way to fix this?

To add more information to this. The Player is running the demo/free version. The player has opened up a table that he uses to make random characters for testing, and the issue is also happening on that table as well. We are running Pathfinder (1E) ruleset. I have no extensions being used.

They may have a faulty update with their CoreRPG ruleset or the 3.5e ruleset. What I suggest is removing those .pak files from the ruleset folder and forcing a new update to download fresh copies. I would also have them check to see if they have any unpacked ruleset folders as they may be overriding the ruleset.
Here is how to access those folders. This guides you in making logs for us but it gets them to the folders where the ruleset folder is located to access the files mentioned above.

@superteddy57 is on the right trail.
However, if it's only one player, then it's probably the cache for that campaign.
Please have the player follow these steps:
* Open FG.
* Click on folder button in upper left of launch screen (opens FG Data folder).
* Go to cache subfolder.
* Delete the folder within with the same name as the campaign.
* Close and restart FG.
* Reconnect to the GM.

Thank you Moon Wizard! I was having this issue for the last couple of weeks. Your instructions to delete the campaign from the cache folder resolved it for me.

Thanks a lot ! This issue has been annoying me to no end, I even reinstalled FGU to no avail but I had forgotten this cache.
