View Full Version : Image scaling in reference manual is kind of annoying.

So the whole change to the reference manuals seems quite weird to me. Ok, so scrolling might be good for some. I sure didn't need it. But .. fine. But I find the new image scaling galling. It is kind of annoying, when you spend hours upon hours setting up your reference manual, just the way you like it. Image sizes that are meticulously chosen and then you update and its like ... "We don't care about your choices. We will change things to what we want and not what you want."

I am sure there is some reason for the image scaling, but I can't think one one. Oh well... It's just annoying I guess.

My understanding is that most of the Book changes are done to facilitate the reader app.

But, if you can show examples of what you are experiencing, I'm sure the devs will consider your feedback and make improvements if they can.

Yeah that feature seemed to resize existing pictures in all modules. You cant exactly fill the window like you used too. And the program takes a dump if you have too many images in that single scrollable chapter. Like all the scaling of images I did last week were all reset to a standard size which no longer can be scaled as large as they were before the update.

I like it for some campaign books but not all. It would be super cool to have an option to turn it off on a particular module.

I am just moving forward. I will deal with it. FG is good stuff.

The image scaling is a little weird, I posted an example on Discord - first 3 clicks and the images doesn't change size. But this is first pass of coming changes, so will wait and see.
