Chat links no longer work after 4.8 update

Summary: Clicking on chat links from Books or Story entries no longer post to the chat. Can create a new chat text link, but also will not post to chat.

Ruleset(s): Tested 5e

Extensions/Themes: No extentions, default theme

Modules Loaded: Critical Role Call of the Netherdeep and Descent into Avernus tested

Operating System: Windows 11

Steps to Reproduce: Create campaign, or open already existing one. Open book or story pages with chat link. Click the chat button to post to the chat. Note it does not work.

Clicking the chat dialog button in the book does not send it to chat.

This is a thing. Chat frames are broken. Also dice are HUGE now...?

They are only big when you roll and you can set the size in Dice Display -> Roll. They do seem to default to 200%.

Just pushed a hot fix for the chat button in the formatted text fields. Please run a new Check for Updates.

When I click on story links I've added to the module I'm working in, since the 4.8 update they appear without a background, making them very hard to read. This also closes the book, rather than opening the story page within the book.65034

Thanks for reporting. That's not related to the chat buttons in the original post; but a separate issue.

I've got one example to work with; but if you can send me a copy of your module along with the path to get to those links, I would appreciate it.

Thank you. The 8.9.25 hotfix corrected the story frame issue.
