I've been working through various online tutorials and such but struggling with a few issues using the Traveller rule set. I'm hoping this forum might give me some good advice as I've been struggling with these things for hours...
1. Ship combat and the ship combat tracker
When I move a ship from the PC Spacecraft window to the Spacecraft Combat Tracker, the Attacks and Defense icons don't show up so the only way to attack is from the character sheet.

(also, what is that little person icon for?)
When I drag the same ship design into the Spacecraft Combat Tracker from the Spacecraft window, I do not have this problem: only when it comes from the PC Spacecraft window.
2. The online tutorials show a box where you can change the attack modifier for a ship, yet I don't seem to get that option. You can see in this figure I have TL and Range boxes, but not an "Attack" box. What am I doing wrong?

BTW, I've been using the Fantasy Grounds Academy GM 101 and 102 for Traveller 2e videos as the best source of info I can find. Would love pointers to additional things to help me know how the system works.
