Unable to link Steam account. (Unable to add Steam ID record.)

Hi I'm trying to link my Steam to FG VTT so that I can download my previously purchased DLCs. (I had reformatted my drive.). But I cannot seem to link to Steam anymore. Help.

I assume you're following the steps on this page: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/syncSteamAccount.php

If so, please explain exactly what issues you're having, including full details of any error messages.

I am going to FGVTT launcher and going to settings. I input my user name and password and save. I then go to sync. Link with Steam. And I login with Steam. I click sign on and then I go back to FG website where I click to sync and I get

Unable to link Steam account. (Unable to add Steam ID record.)

Is the Steam account is linked to any other FG accounts?

This normally happens if you have multiple accounts and it is already linked to a different account. If you look up your Steam ID and email it to us at support.fantasygrounds.com, we can clear the old one so you can relink it to your preferred account.
