Hey everyone, we have reached the official launch of the CosmereRPG. As issues are reported and fixed, I'll post updates in this thread.

Hotfix 1:
Fixed skill ranks
Fixed dice modifier buttons
Fixed Stonewalkers missing map.

Hotfix 2:
Added Cognitive and Spiritual Defense parsing
Armor now updates Deflect value when equipped
Fixed Max Skill by tier limit
Fixed Investiture not enabling when a player takes the First Ideal Talent.

Hotfix 3:
Fixed Damage issues and deflect calculations

Module Update Week 1: Fixed various typos among multiple modules, added more expertise to the Handbook.

Ruleset Update Week 2:
Added Graze and Crit Damage Modifier Buttons to the Dice bar
Players can now set their own phase in the combat tracker
All combatants can have a set order (ascending) within their phase to help with organization
Fixed some theme readability issues on the character sheet
Goal Checkmarks now work and default to 3
Cleaned up some attack parsing
Set Skill bonuses now add to skill rolls and attacks

Currently for grazing, the intended playthrough is to roll damage with the graze modifier and no target selected after missing, then if you want to spend the focus you can drag the result from the chat to the target token.

Ruleset Update 8/29
Added Endeavors record type, added Endeavors to Stonewalkers Campaign.

Update 9/3
Added GM Tools to Stonewalkers Adventure. It is listed as a secondary module/book and needs to be activated as such, but contains a short notes version of the entire campaign, including links to Encounters, Maps, and NPC Profiles.

Update 9/9
Minor fixes to Bridge Nine and Handbook

This is great! One thing that's confusing - all of the new releases state: "Requires: An active subscription or a one time purchase of a Fantasy Grounds license and a one time purchase of the Cosmere RPG ruleset."

There isn't a Cosmere ruleset currently available for purchase. There's the playtest version installed on my FG instance - is that what should be used or wil there be a ruleset release to purchase soon?

That was old boilerplate text. Should be updated now.

Indeed, it has been but still doesn't tell us where the Cosmere ruleset is.

So, for anyone else following this the ruleset is actually free and it will download if you update now. (from extensive discussion of Discord).

In the First Steps Module:

1. In the Getting Started sidebar at point 4 there's Modules > PUT IN REST OF INSTRUCTIONS. I suspect this was something you were going to come back to but missed.
2. There's multiple instances of extra spaces after italic or bold words which are followed by punctuation. You can see examples in Before you Begin at Welcome to Roshar , and The First Step ,. The reason for these spaces is that xml automatically adds a space immediately after the last character that has bold, italic, underline etc applied to it. The solution is therefore to include any punctuation inside the italicized or bolded section. Since reading through and correcting things like this is a bit onerous it can be fixed in the db.xml of the campaign used to create the module. Do a search for, for example, " </i>," and replace with ",</i>" and do the same with periods, brackets, exclamation marks or whatever for italic and bold.
3. In Taking the First Step the text in the speech bubble can be divided into paragraphs by pressing SHIFT+ENTER at the end of each paragraph. Also the first and second paragraphs start with an unwanted space.

I just pushed up a new build for First Step that should address this. Thanks for reporting!

Jolly well done. The extra space issue is present in all the other books as well; but you probably already figured that out :D

Yeah, those will be going out on Tuesday unless there is another serious hotfix needed for them beforehand.

1. Skill ranks can't be raised above 2 no matter character level.
2. Custom weapons built in Inventory tab don't display in Main tab weapons section.
3. Defenses don't update with talents such as Collected, no way to manually update.

These are some small bugs I've found while messing around with it. If there's something I missed to make any of these work, I'm new to FG and apologize.

Here are a couple things I noticed last night while tinkering around.
1) The bonus on the stats page in the character sheet doesn't get applied. On the stats sheet it correctly shows that the total should be plus 4 (in my example) but in the chat after rolling, it only applied a plus 2. In this particular example the character (Samantha) has a 2 in their intellect. When I remove the bonus, I still get the plus 2, when I add the bonus in (should now be plus 4) I still get the plus 2. This makes me think that the issue is with the bonus and not the intellect attribute

2) Some areas of text are not readable in theme: Core Dark

I've also noticed typos in some of the book modules. Here is one example: 64970
Is this something that you'd like me to continue to post about in the future in the thread or is there a better place for me to report text errors such as this?

This may be something I've missed, but adding the exhausted effect only seems to work on the combat tracker and I can't change the level, plus it doesn't seem to affect skill tests at all

1. Should be fixed, let me know if you are still having issues.
2. Did you equip the item after creating it? The main tab only registers equipped items, not carried or dropped.
3. Talent automation is on my roadmap, but isn't currently available. Effect automation will be coming out sooner (depending on how many other bugs there are to tackle) and should be able to replicate most talents in the short term.

These both should be fixed now, let me know if you are still having issues with the Theme though, since I normally just work on the standard Stormlight theme.

Yeah, I have been slowly working through those, most of them are in the handbook, but if you find any elsewhere please feel free to let me know.

Exhaustion is next on my list to tackle actually. So hopefully it will be included with next week's update along with the other effects.

Yes, I did equip it. I can't confirm if it works now or not, but will check later and post again.

Wonderful! I confirm that both of these issues (bonus not applied, unreadable text in Core dark) have been resolved.

The rank checkboxes on the skills section of the character sheet are not aligned vertically with the rest of the row. 65026

Okay, it took me a while, but I am able to confirm that created weapons still do not appear on the Main tab for me when equipped through the Inventory tab. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but I wouldn't be terribly surprised if I was.

Just starting digging into this in preparation for my Stonewalkers run-through, and noticed that slow PCs appear after slow NPCs in the combat tracker. I can get around this by manually dragging around the active character icon, but I believe slow PCs should be in front of slow NPCs.

Based on your screenshot, those all look like NPCs, since it bases it on record type not faction (since friendly npcs go when enemy npcs go from what I've read.) So they are just being sorted alphabetically. Next ruleset update will include an order option though to organize actors inside their phase, just need to fix some issues with it before I can release it.

Oh, funky. I might have set up the characters wrong, then. But that update would be great!

On a separate note, when I reduced one of the characters to zero hit points, it threw an error (seen below). Not sure if it's an error because I had NPCs attacking NPCs, but it threw nonetheless.
65280

Finally, rolling a non-graze attack from a character sheet calculated the damage correctly and displayed in the chat, but applied it to the targeted character like a graze attack (without the bonus).

Really appreciate the quick reply!

Yep both of those should be fixed in the next update as well, going to try and get it out tomorrow.

A small bug I noticed is that when moving Composed from the Leader (Politico) section, it drops the Soaring Destruction talent. I don't know which other talents may have this error, this is just the one I found while building a character sheet.
