I am hoping someone here might be able to help....

Error2 (https://upload.spillmonkey.com/uploads/error.1214066667281997224134192506019200805290630. jpg)

If you look at the screenshot, if i open any window, modules/library/ect and drag it around, i get this weird ghosting. If I resize FG2, it will go away. And this does not happen on any other ruleset I have.

any idea?

Error1 (https://upload.spillmonkey.com/uploads/error2.1214067049202357224134192506019200805290630 .jpg)

I get that console error as soon as I go to make a character when I open the Char sheet. Which is why I think all the Character/Race/Level/Class info at the top of the first tab is written on top of each other.

I took a look at file in the error, and I can't see anything glaring out at me, but I have never really looked at xml before.

I am not that good a scripting, anyone have any clue as to where to look?

Almost 99% of custom rulesets not distributed in a .pak file format (along with registry keys or an installer) will not funciton in local mode. Most people wirte character sheets to work in a campaign and in local mode the database is slightly different and unless the maker took this into account you will get errors in local mode. Sometimes these can be ignored and it functions enough to make a local character, other times it may be drastic and prevent the ruleset from functioning.

Have seen that ghosting effect before when the desktop image cannot be located.
Check with the ruleset creator. They might be able to fix it or tell you which file to put where to correct the behaviour.

Ok, thank you. I fixed the ghosting. this last bit of problems has to do with char selections.

Error3 (https://upload.spillmonkey.com/uploads/error3.1214164101239207224134192506019200805290630 .jpg)

As you can see, I have weird ASCII in the character selection. Also our test PC "Bob" is one of the unnamed local characters in the selection screen. So how do i get rid of the ASCII and get it to retain the character name on the selection screen.

If you can point me in the right direction, i can probilly fix it, i just don't know where to look.

Also on that screenshot, although somewhat trivial, the top part of the first tab. with the name, appearance, level, class, ect ect. Do you see how the text is bunched together? Is this related to the console error in the below screenshot?

And that above console error pops up every time i start a new character. but not when i open one of the unnamed characters listed in the first screenshot.

As author of the ruleset in question, I can say that I don't honestly know what causes the ASCII problem on character selection. We always took it as a minor problem with no effect (it disappears once the character is created and named).

The issue with the bunching of the fields in the top line of the character sheet is caused by one being anchored to another and the sizes being dynamic. Once the fields are populated, the field names become clear - hardly ideal, I know, but again not a massive inconvenience. You should be able to work with the ruleset to remove the anchoring and impose more strict positioning. I don't believe this is related to the console error, no.

Hope this helps.
