Hi

We are using... 2024 5e... Shadow of the dragon queen and the Syrinscape online player but in our first game everyone had sound playing clearly...second game two players had no soundat all...in our last session only one player had sound during the game.
Does anyone know what the problem could be ?
I would like to fix this before our next session.

Thanks in advance for any help.

If at least one person is hearing the sound then you'll need to check that the people who aren't hearing it are: using the right invitation link to open their browser, have enabled sounds for the syrinscape website in their browser (you'll normally see a speaker icon in the browser tab), the browser tab isn't going to sleep - most browsers have a setting to save resources and put tabs you're not viewing to sleep, etc..

I'm not sure if this is related, but similarly, I was unable to hear sounds from the link generated within FG which launched my default Edge browser. The sound was just not being sent to Edge (I didn't see the graphic indicator of the sound). However, when I copied the link and instead played from Chrome, the sound would play and I would see the graphic indicator of the sound. If you were unable to resolve through the sound settings Trenloe suggested - try having the GM copy the link in Syrinscape and using that instead. I don't know how to fix the Edge issue I'm experiencing (and perhaps your players are as well if the ones who couldn't hear were using Edge).

My windows (or chrome, maybe) sucks, so sometimes I open up Syrinscape and leave it there just to have it mute; because after a while a small label (on the syrinscape chrome page) appears saying "click here to activate context" or something like that. Click that and it should work. So check with your players to see if they have the same issue (also, it's not something that comes out every time, so you could go days where it goes smoothly, and days it nags you for clicks)
