I've come across the following in two games this week - a player will plan a move with Token Movement Lock activated and when the GM accepts the move, they will see the player's token shoot off to the top-left corner of the map, but for the player the token moves as planned. This movement that the GM sees ignores any walls or other occluders and just moves in a direct, straight line to the corner.

I've come across this in a D&D 5E game I was DMing, using the player map for the first level of the Dungeon of the Mad Mage module, and my GM reported seeing it in a PF2-legacy game, but not sure what map he was using.

Thanks for the report. We had a similar report in a different module. I'll take a look at it.

This happened for our whole session. Very weird.

Can confirm that it happened during our session last night. About half of the requested moves sent the tokens flying straight off the map when approved. I didn't have the opportunity to troubleshoot as we were in an active game. There was no discernable pattern that I could see or replicate, but it happened enough times during a fight that I finally had to ask players to stop plotting their movement so I could drag their tokens manually instead. I did not see this issue last weekend at all.

Yep, has been happening for me since the last update. It hasn't been 100% of the time (even on the same map), and I haven't been able to figure out what the pattern is--but it's happening across multiple 5e campaigns for me. I love all of the changes to token lock in recent updates, so I hope this can get resolved quickly.

Just to pile on, lol. I was having this issue Thursday in my Shadowdark game. So, I don't think the issue is with a specific ruleset.

Thanks for the additional reports. We're working on a fix already; and will get it out soon.

We had our D&D session last night and not a single token caught a dose of the zoomies :D

Thanks for your quick response / fix!

We just had a game on Sunday the 6th and had 3 instances of "zooming" occur in game. I cannot narrow it to a module...I was using my own map with my own grid for that map set-up. In one instance of the zoomies, two character tokens zoomed together and were "locked" together when I tried moving them back. Very odd behavior indeed and has been happening to us weekly for about 3 or 4 weeks now. I will keep an eye out for it this Sunday.

If you have not started FG since that game session, you can open the Console Window from the top left corner of the LG launch screen, then click the Compile Logs button and attach the resulting zip file here.

Thank you. If I do, I will be sure to compile the logs prior to ending the session as the post above yours suggests. (we have a session today)
