View Full Version : Languages also affect speaker name.

After the last update, it seems as though when a speaker is using a different language, the replacement text also replaces the speaker's name.

For example, if the character is speaking Draconic, their name is also in Draconic, as well as the text of their speech.

This campaign is running the PF1E ruleset if that matters.

That's happening in the Savage Worlds ruleset also, so it's coming from CoreRPG.

It is a display quick/error.

The underlying code is keeping the character name in the HTML of the chat log.

From last session's chat log: https://dragonslayers-society.org/pmwiki-old/pmwiki.php?n=Main.2025-06-27c

The name used to still be in English, and now they are displaying in the Language Spoken, but stored as standard name.

The application only ever let there be one font per chat entry. I've removed the name from the second entry in the update today; and the v4.7.4 main client update removed some extra chat spacing.
