Just wondering if this might be coming to the FGU store?

SmiteWorks generally doesn't comment on these things until the product has been converted and passed QC checks. Too many times things fall through since these are not actually converted by SW themselves.

Have you asked the IP holder? Usually third party product like this are converted by the IP holder, or a community developer working with the third party. (Since the IP holder is the only one who can give permission for it's distribution.)

More information on the process, and signing up to be a community developer can be found with this thread: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?67735-Publishers-looking-for-conversions-for-Fantasy-Grounds

Not to mention that converting something of that size, with all the LOS, npcs, items, etc, would take an enormous effort and a lot of time.

From the kickstarter page:

A behemoth adventure unlike any other:

Over 1,600 original encounters, including every monster in the SRD, across more than 1,600 pages!
18 NEW highly detailed boss miniatures
16 poster-sized maps + NEW interior detail maps
Exclusive dice from FanRoll
Full Audiobook from AudioRPG

Miniatures likely have pictures.
But dayum! 1600 pages... Poster sized maps + interior detailed ones...

It takes roughly 70-100 hours to convert a 196 page pdf into a module for Fantasy Grounds. This one is 8 times that size so I'm not sure someone is going to spend what would be nearly 6 months converting such a huge thing. You never know, of course, but it would take someone that really, really wanted to see it done to even contemplate it.

For that massive effort I can’t imagine it would be cheap either. Probably would be the most expensive single item on the smite works store in its history.

I 2nd and 3rd this comment. It took me about 2 1/2 almost 3 years to finish Rappan Athuk. So it would take someone with a bit of dedication to start it and keep at it even when you get tired of looking at it.

Honestly it would have to be done out of love for the product. These projects are just too niche to sell enough at any price to pay a decent "wage". IMO they are awesome, but they are a hard sell.

For instance, my Ultimate Undermountain has "sold" 21 copies for a total revenue of $480 ($240 to me) in 7 months at nominal price of $25. I put in well over 3000 hours on it. So... less than $0.08/hour. Even though I will probably continue to sell some copies for years to come, it will never be a wise investment of my time if money was why I did it.

So yea, agree. My example above is a pretty different case since I had to create almost all the content including maps, encounters, etc. But mega dungeons are time consuming. I gave up tracking hours about halfway through the project at 2000 hours. So I now say I spent 3000 hours over 6 years on it, but it could have, and probably was, a lot more than that.

The sheer size alone would likely be 'too much' or excessive. Or, maybe made into four different modules.

Lol...Rappan Athuk is massive. If I had done the Pathfinder 1e version it would have taken me 8 months...

I am a fan old of school 1st edition style adventures updated for modern rules. Frog God Games has some great materials for a third party. I have heard the Barrow Mounds for another system is larger as far as mega dungeons but I am not sure. Forgotten Realms Undermountain created my love for these massive things. Finding out its very unfinished, I sought to find a megadungeon that was fully fleshed out and playtested. Enter Rappan Athuk. The place is huge and even the creator Bill Webb admits he ran it for years since the 70s and groups still never reached all levels nevermind defeat certain elements of the dungeon. I also looked into Paizo's Emerald Spire and ran it for a couple years in a table game.
So for people that are not aware of Rappan Athuk, its mainly for the Pathfinder 1st edition. Although it was remastered into a couple other systems, the most material is for Pathfinder. That being said Rappan Athuk is one part of a series of standalone modules that are linked together to form a massive campaign. Rappan Athuk has around 40 dungeons. A few of those have exits that lead into other products such as The Cyclopean Deeps volume 1 and 2 which brings you deep into the underdark beneath Rappan Athuk. A huge underground hex map filled with locations. On top of that the main storyline of Rappan Athuk is the Army of Light being defeated. The continuation of Rappan Athuk is another massive module called the Slumbering Tszar. Thats a 1000 page module. Rappan Athuk is 650, The Cyclopean Deep books are 300, and Tszar is 1000. That's 2000 pages of dungeons and encounters that are of higher levels. Then theres 2 more if you want to get technical. The Stoneheart Valley quests and The Black Monastery. Rappan Athuk is bigger than you thought...

I found out alot about this dungeon and wanted to talk some shop about it.
I just wanted to put out the scale of Rappen Athuk.

I mentioned Rappan Athuk for Pathfinder. I am not sure what "the worlds largest dungeon" really is no matter the ruleset. Ive heard its Athuk. Maybe Barrow Mounds or Undermountain? Paizo had the Emerald Spire Superdungeon, which isnt that super. They also brought out the Abomination Vaults for PFRPG 2e. Rappan Athuk has a 5e conversion so I am wondering which dungeon you were referring too?

Being a Forgotten Realms fan, I love Undermountain..I actually have Rappan Athuk converted up to level 6 for Pathfinder 1e., but haven't gotten back to it as I'm converting other stuff for my own campaign.

I am pretty sure its either The Barrow Mounds by Black Wyrm or Rappan Athuk by Frog God Games. They are substantially larger than Undermountain. Even the unfinished areas...

In this case, it's referring to a 3e sourcebook titled literally that (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/23425/world-s-largest-dungeon-the). It was kind of a hot mess, but used ALL the SRD monsters at the time, and the maps themselves were interesting.

Ahhh....ok.....never heard of it and it does sound kind of lame. Like throw the monster manual in a dungeon and it just throws out spawns of creatures. Not very intuitive.
