Are you using any extensions? Can you reproduce in a new campaign without extensions?

Also, where are the portraits coming from? Did you move any assets or folders on your hard drive?

Auto rolls don't trigger if the GM manually moves the turn indicator. They trigger only when the end turn or next combatant button is used.
This is by design. Otherwise, when the GM moves the turn indicator for things like coming of hold, interruptions, or letting a character add effects, rolls would keep happening.

When you say the portraits don't show up, do you mean the character portraits are blank, or that the character portrait section is completely gone?

There is nothing showing up in the upper left window of the FG screen. players see their's and the other partymembers.
Portraits are coming from the PC's
No extensions enabled.
I cleared all ownership and the party sheet and the combat tracker. hoping it was just something weird. Playing tonight so we shall see.

You should take a screenshot so we could understand the problem better. Logs as well. If it is not an extension or theme(s) causing problems, often totally missing portraits in the top left means something is wrong with the ruleset. Check to see if you have an unzipped version of your Savage Worlds ruleset or possibly the CoreRPG ruleset (I think SW got refactored to use CoreRPG?).

Let's back up and start at the beginning in case something was missed and to be sure I understand what was done.
Go into Options, look for the Desktop: Show PCs setting (you can type "PC" into the filter textbox then hit Enter to find it more easily).
If it's set to "Active Only, it will only display PCs that are logged on and claimed.
Change it to "All" to show all character in the party.
Also, make sure that all player characters are in the party on the Party Sheet.
Check how the party list in the top left corner is toggled if the lock and toggle icons of the character list are showing. If it's set to combat, nobody will show up if the CT is empty.
If all PCs are in the Party Sheet, and they're on the CT, and the top left character lsit is still missing, it may be that the widget got moved off screen.
You can try to find it by typing
/scaleui 50
in chat to shrink everything and see if it appears.
To set it back, type this in chat:
/scaleui 100
If none of that works, the character list widget may be lost. Post the windowstate.xml file from the campaign's folder and I'll find it.
