Hello, just wondering if there is a way to get damage dice to explode for my new favourite spell. If so, is there a way to limit the number of times it explodes?

I looked through the wiki and dice strings can be set to explode but didn't figure out how to apply it to damage rolls.

Only with an extension. Generic Actions for 5E recently added in dice expression support for power/weapon damage for my own purposes in SW5E game I'm running. But you will need to write an extension or use one that allows it.

Oh cool! I have generic actions, didn't know it could do that. Do i just add the expression i want in the damage field? Thanks for the help!

Like I said its new - GA is my grab bag extension I add in things when I need them.
