Grouping NPCs on same card in combat tracker?

I have several encounters set up with NPCs with identical stats but different tokens, and I would like these similar NPCs to be grouped together on the same card on the combat tracker. Unfortunately, I can't figure out any way to do this.

However, it appears that the group icon referenced in that post is no longer present on the combat tracker in the current version of the program/rule set. I tried just dragging the NPCs on top of each other, but that just seems to result in duplicates rather than them being grouped.

When the NPCs are grouped on the Encounter they automatically get grouped when added to the Combat Tracker.

If you want to group on the CT, drag the link for the "actor" onto the Action Card of the "actor" you want it grouped with.

Top left of the CT is an icon to enable group editing, then it opens up options to ungroup etc.

Thanks, that worked. I just didn't know where to drag to.

Is there a way to group NPCs in the Encounters also? I know if you have multiples of the same NPC they end up being grouped automatically, but I don't see how to do it with individually defined members of the encounter.

When you add an NPC to an encounter it makes its own group. You can drag the same NPC again and it will make another group.

There is no way to combine different NPC's (different NPC records) or same NPCs' with a different token or name into a single group within an encounter record.

The only thing you can do within an Encounter record is set the number of NPC's in each 'group' (and predefine their location on a map).

Once you add them to the Combat Tracker, you can combine them further however you wish by dragging them to the Action Card of the "group" you want to merge them into as Jimini menions above.
