Hey everyone its been awhile since ive been on here.. But the last few times i have purchased stuff from the store for some reason it set up the purchase as a gift which i didnt select, and it ended up causing a headache. Anyway I am about to make a purchase again and curious where do i unselect purchase as gift I am needing it for myself.. Thanks in advance

Usually the gift option comes up after the purchase.

To gift something to someone you need to buy the item and then go to the Store dropdown in the store and select order history and click on the gift icon and then fill out the form to say who you are gifting it to. So there's not a way of buying something outright as a gift that I am aware of (you can do this in Steam but not from the Smiteworks store); you need to jump through a couple of hoops to make that happen.

If you are talking about the gift icon that appears next to your recent purchase that's only there in case you want to gift it - it doesn't mean that you bought it as a gift. The icon will go away after a few days if you don't gift it and can otherwise be ignored..
