Background: The party took shelter in a pyramid in the middle of the desert after a sandstorm. Upon entry, they have encountered three cults devoted to lost gods as well as the Cult of Zargon, the Elder Evil, whose priests rule the underground City of Cynidicea. Ancient magic placed a dragon in the center of the pyramid, as a component to a magical prison for Zargon, who is tethered in the lowest level of the pyramid until the dragon is slain. Quests include resuscitating a lost god, uniting the cult factions, stopping the Drow from invading the City, and retrieving an acquaintance from the Elemental Plane of Earth. Darkvision highly encouraged, since the Underdark is, well, dark.
DM Goal: Find out the character hopes and set a path for them to achieve them. PCs may cap out at 23rd level. Yes, you read that right.
Quests:
1. Slay Zargon, if you can. (Tier IV)
2. Find a way to resurrect Usamigaras, the God of Magic (Tier III)
1. Find more light crystals
2. Figure out the other steps to revive.
3. Find the brazier.
3. Female Drow have been initiated into the Warrior Maidens of Madarua. (Tier II)
4. Examine The Tome of Prismathys (Tier II)
5. Find the Throne of the Gods (it's with Zargon) (Tier IV)
6. The Crystal Dragon Lair (and progeny) (Tier II to III
7. Priestess Zara wants your help to overthrow the Zargon Temple leadership.(Tier II-III)
8. Getting your friend back from the Elemental Plane of Earth (Tier II-!!!)
