How is the height of the token title determined in the camera/token view modes? It can often obscure the top portion of the token image, which is frequently the face of the NPC. I know that I can leave space at the top of the image to push the title text up, but it would be great if the title text were placed to respect the entire height of the image.

Are you using tokens at 80% or 100% grid size? Most of the token decorations are designed to be used best at 80% grid size. I recommend changing to hover or tooltip, if using 100% grid size.

For 100% grid size, the name is centered on the top-center of token.
For 80% grid size, the name is centered on the top-center of token and moved up 5% of grid size.

As for the other cameras, those height are determined via metadata which can be read about here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/forums/showthread.php?80375-Pre-defining-the-scale-and-positioning-of-images-in-3D-space

I typically use 90% of grid size. There is no issue in the 2-D modes, only the camera modes.

I do set the metadata files, and the images are scaling correctly. The issue is where the title is being placed on top of the image. It doesn't respect the scaled height of the image and appears to place the title at approximately 5 feet above the ground for a medium-sized creature.

Attached is an image of a test I just ran. All three NPCs are medium creatures with the same camera token image. The one marked 4 is scaled so that the entire image is 4' tall, the one marked 5 is scaled at 5' tall, and the one marked 6 is scaled at 6' tall. It appears to be making some adjustments based on the metadata file, but the calculation does not seem to be accurate. Ideally, the bottom of the title should be just above the top of the image after it has been clipped and scaled.

There is no 90% of grid size option in the setting "Token: Auto-scale to grid".

Are you using metadata to specify a height greater than the grid size? (i.e. 5' in 5E)

Also, there is no 90% setting in the "Token: Auto-scale to grid" option.

Yes, typically there are many creatures that are taller than 5' that are medium-sized. The average human is taller than 5'.

That was a typo. I meant 80%.

I've filed a ticket for Carl to review to see what we can do with that view.
