wouldn't it make sense to retire the old version?

We typically don't retire any older editions of products unless a new one completely replaces it. Sometimes people prefer an older version of something.

But if you only look into sales items, you do not necessarily see that there is a newer version. How about adding the newer version to sales too? Or at least post a disclaimer on the product that a newer version exists?

As i already own both versions, no financial interest from my side.
