View Full Version : Trouble with chat windows in swade ruleset

I'm having trouble with the chat text window in FGU. When I speak as an NPC and then try to revert to the GM role, it doesn't switch back—it keeps the NPC tag. It only works if I create an NPC named 'GM', but selecting 'GM' from the chat dropdown doesn't work.

I'm seeing this too, which is odd, since this comes from CoreRPG.
It works properly in the D&D 5E tutorial campaign.
It doesn't work in SWADE, even with no extensions.
I'm looking at this now.

I fixed the bug, but there are other things not working quite right in chat.
I'm still working on this, and didn't make the weekly update this week.
I'll have this fixed for next weeks deploy.

This bug was due to the SWADE ruleset code falling behind changes made to CoreRPG.
I reworked messages in SWADE which addressed this bug as well as a couple of others.
The icons work better now, as in the proper icon displays for NPCs and vehicles for actions, chat, emotes.
OOC displays more clearly now too.
All this will deploy on Tuesday.
