my friend is trying to play with us with the demo but when he connects to my game it switches to the demo version and won't work for the whole group. i was told that early this year all licences were ultimate now. i bought the original FG around 10 years ago and then i bought unity when i've been around for a long time. can anyone direct me to somewhere i can upgrade my account to ultimate since they are all ultimate now??

I don't think there's an upgrade option any more but the licenses have come down so much in price that just buying an ultimate license is less that the upgrade used to cost.

It will tell you what kind of license you have in the text line at the top right of the start screen.

it says i have core, not sure what that is i thought they were standard/ultimate/demo

It was said that a license bought after a certain date is the Ultimate. NOt that all Licenses were converted to Ultimate.

There is still an upgrade option, it's hard to find except though the initial settings/campaign screen, or your order history if one has already upgraded. :) (https://www.fantasygrounds.com/store/product.php?id=FGU03UPGRADE)

The Upgrade button is available from the FG Launch screen. That will direct you to the proper place for the upgrade based on whether you purchased on Steam or on our website.
