Dear fellow adventurers,

I am in need of you help. I am trying to run FGU with a MacBook Air M3. Whenever my players try to access my adventure they get an error saying the user is not registered with the lobby server. I have done the follwing:

Checked firewall: It's inactive
Checked VPN's: Don't have any
Checked antivirus: Mac does not allow Xprotect to be messed with (this may be the problem)
Reinstalled FGU
When I go to Settings...Privacy and Security....to allow FGU to access the network, FGU is not one of the listed programs
I've switched to a dedicated Ethernet connection
Customer service can't help me, they've pretty much written me off.
FGU won't refund my money because I've had it too long.

So, here I am stuck with an expensive piece of software that I can't use. If anyone has any solutions I would be forever in your debt.

Thanks

Can you Compile Logs and attach here? Also a screen shot of your FG launch screen right before you click Start. Something like the following

I would imagine that you've already checked all of this but make sure that you have ticked Cloud and Public in the start screen for the campaign. Also make sure that your campaign name doesn't have any punctuation or other strange characters in the name (and that you username is similarly bereft of such characters). Also do you see Lobby: connected at the top left of your start screen as LE is alluding to.

Additionally are your players typing in the correct username when they try to connect in the Join by DM name? Finally if you can come onto the official Discord support channel we can try more direct and immediate help. https://discord.gg/yEwN3Zqb

The log files contain the most recent session, as well as one session previously.

In the previous session, it shows you starting a campaign and successfully connecting and registering with the lobby server to publish your game.
In the most recent session, it shows you attempting to connect to a campaign, and the lobby server is returning that the GM name you are providing does not have a session registered on the lobby server.

Just to be clear on what to expect, the FG server is hosted by the GM's machine, and can only be accessed when the GM is running the campaign on their machine.

Maybe you can walk us through what you are trying to do? Are you trying to host a campaign for others; or are you trying to connect to another user's campaign (and do they have it currently up and running)?
