View Full Version : Creating pointers moves fx

Hi :)

I tested in 3.5e (without extensions) but the following is likely an issue everywhere :)

Create a map with a cloud fx. Then create a pointer. Observe how the border of the cloud fx moves at moment of creating the pointer, just to move back to the original position right after :)

Since the border of the cloud fx is usually outside the image borders it doesn't really matter; however if you add a mask for the cloud fx in such a way that the cloud is for example only in the middle of the map, then it is very distracting to create pointers because the cloud fx shortly jumps very noticeable :)

I hope that helps :) I presume that this is a problem with other fx, too

Best wishes

Kel

I'm not able to reproduce this. Can you capture a quick video showing the issue? Thanks.

Sorry for the delay, here is the video now: https://youtu.be/gjF5FN03fXE

Check how the fx is jumping :)

(By the way, in our last game speed information of the water fx was not adjusted on the user side, as if it is not shared; that is, the users see the standard speed not my settings. I thought I quickly share it here since it is a small thing :) )
