View Full Version : FGU Starfinder - Player Starship sheets changed after latest update. Weapon Slots not

Hello

Fantasy Grounds Unity 4.7
Starfinder 1E
No extentions

Tried creating a new Ship
Also tried creating a new campaign and create a new ship with the same results.

After the latest 4.7 FGU update our Player starship sheets started behaving incorrectly. Weapons stopped showing up on the Ships Sheet, "Weapons" Tab . They only showed up as <empty slot> . And I was not able to add weapons to the ship and update the weapon slots.
But some of the weapons did show up on the PC's "Ships" tab when the player showed the actions for that ship. They did not retain the "Firing Arc" of the either. But I believe that has always been like that for a while.

On the Ship Sheet I tried some options;

Dragging weapons onto the mountpoints to re-add the weapons. I have been getting the following error
WARNING: can not add 'Heavy laser cannon' on 'Raptor' . No available slots for weapon.
I right clicked and cleared the slot, it said it removed the weapon, that was there but not showing its name on the sheet
Added new weapon slots for different directions. Forward, Aft, etc.
Dragged weapons to the new slots, but still got the same error
I right clicked and deleted the weapon slots, one at a time and retried adding weapon. No success.
The weapons eventually all got deleted when I cleared each weapon slot an tried adding weapons again.
I did notice I could add other weapons by dragging them over into the slot. It would then ask which firing arc, aft, forward, turrent , etc. and allow the weapons to be added. But they still did not show up on the Ship Sheet. Sometimes they would show up on the player ship tab after refreshing by closing the sheet.
It seems it did not want to add the heavy laser canon no mater what slot I try to place it it, just gave the error. The ship should be allowed a heavy laser on forward slot



I was able to build the ships and see the weapons all last week. Some weapons seem be allowed to be added, after clearing the slot. But sometimes show up on the player ship tab. Not the ship sheet. They can fire the weapons from the PC ship tab actions.

Starfinder Core Rules
Horizons of the vast: AP1 Planetfall
Hozizons of the vast: AP3 Whispers of the eclipse

Just pushed a hot fix that I think should address. Not as familiar with SFRPG; but I was able to set a frame and drag and drop weapons onto the weapons list without error.

Please run a new Check for Updates.

It almost 100% worked. The only thing that is still a bit off is the default weapon slots for the transport. It seems to make all the default slots, but the 2nd Heavy weapon slot is Capital.
Im not 100% sure if in the rules it's not supposed to be that. But the Transport Starship Frame is supposed to have 1 Heavy and 1 Light on Forward. Seems to be making it the heavy a Capital slot.

So when I drag a heavy weapon, such as the Heavy Laser Canon or any other large weapon, it says no slot available. Probably due to wrong size.

I can work around it by creating a new weapon slot and raising the size. So should be ok.

Besides that odd default build, it all seems to be working. Thank you!

I would check the frame and see what the mounts say, if it's wrong there it's a data issue.
