Hi,
I noticed that the colour base for each token on a battlemap is now black.
I've noticed this in 5e and SWADE rulesets, but I don't think I see it in the latest video posted on the new interface.
Have I selected some function that has activated this colour on all rulesets?
Cheers,

The colour you are seeing is dependent on the colour you have chosen for the active character. So I'm guessing that you have selected black (which is the default). If you go to options > Color: Active character you can change it there via the colour picker.

We set it to black for now; because only the GM could edit it using their user color, and we wanted it to be consistent. This is most likely something we will revisit.

I noticed the inconsistency the other day when I was checking it via a second instance.
One thought was perhaps keeping the inner base as the user-defined color (meaning this extends to players), and the ring having the faction color (but keep the arrows as user-defined as they are now).
I dunno, I'm just spitballing here.

The challenge is that players actually have multiple colors; which became the issue. It requires adding more data to tokens both in application, API and ruleset; as well as network updates. So, it was simplified for the moment, until it could be looked at more comprehensively and not in the middle of a release and fix cycle.

What about an option to just turn it off?
Right now it's covering a lot of the map just selecting a token, you can't see what's near or under a token even on tokens that have a lot of transparency (for a reason).
