Not one of my brightest moments...somehow hit "revert changes" on a homebrew reference manual that I was creating...and now totally blank.
I assume that I had left all of the content unlocked as that is the reason it is no longer there/visible? Any history saved anywhere to try and recover?...and no I didn't have a backup externally...note to self again!
Many thanks for any suggestions to recover if there is a way.
Cheers

Inside your campaign folder (<FG Data>/campaigns/<campaign name>) are multiple backup files with dates.
Copy the current db.xml file to a safe location. Then copy and rename the latest session file to db.xml and restart FG and see if that recovers your changes.

Reverting changes on something you are creating should not remove any changes. Revert changes only reverts the changes that you have made to a published module (or to a module you have created and are editing it in another campaign - that is not the one you created it in). So it sounds like you are trying to edit a published module rather than creating your own. To create your own click on books and then on campaign to get a new, blank, book. You can then create your content in that. If you want to edit an existing module then you'll need to copy the original pages and then edit the copies if you want to have those for the future or for a module.
If you were editing an existing book and then reverted the changes there is no way to get those changes back because reverting the changes simply deletes the file with the edited content which is found in the moduldb folder inside the campaign folder and not in the db.xml that LordEntrails is talking about. Also reverting changes will not under any circumstances that I can think of remove any kind of content that you have created yourself. It will only affect things you have edited in a module.
