5e Indicators Blood Overlay Impacting Hover and Targeting

I use an extension with blood on tokens. For some time now, when a token is "bloody" it becomes difficult to over over or target in the map. I've reported this to the token creator (mattekure) and he said a change was made to the game that is broken within the game, not his extension. Can someone please help here? This has been the case for months, I was hoping it would be fixed, but it hasn't.

Have you tried using test? I believe this was fixed on there.
