One week ago, workers at the mining facility of Blastridge unearthed a mysterious artifact while excavating a new siccatite vein. The nature of the relic isn’t publicly known, but preparations were quickly made to have it transported to Steepshore—the planet’s largest population center and the seat of power for the Ixo Syndicate—for closer study. Keeping the discovery a secret has proven impossible, and rumors are already circulating about the object’s significance.
Those rumors caught the attention of Aramesh Maageri, a down-on-their-luck scoundrel recently afflicted by a desperate need for quick cash—and one of the player characters. If they can somehow intercept the grav-train on its way to Steepshore and abscond with the artifact, it’ll mean a payday like none other. But to pull it off, they’ll need the perfect crew...
