I am converting the Pathfinder 1e Iron Gods to the "2e Remaster" rules for my home game. The campaign story entries started to displaying in alphabetic order. It has previously been displayed by same order as it was in the book/PDF. All entries are now locked also. I do not see a way to get it to revert back to the original way of displaying it. I am hoping for a simple solution, other than duplicating every story entry to enable me to make changes.
It still has the changes I have previously made to the story entries, NPC's, and maps. I am using the Universal Module. I am current updating book 3. It have been using it for about a year running this Adventure Path.

Unless Pathfinder is different to other rulesets story entries have always been listed in Alpha-numeric order. To order them in a specific way you normally use a numbering system with the first entry being something like 00.00 <title>, then 00.01 <title>, 00.02 <title> etc meaning chapter 1, story 1 etc.
Stories are no longer used in official modules but rather book entries (previously reference pages) which has a much more flexible indexing system. You can, if you want, simply drag and drop any of your existing stories into a new book, and then continue from there.

The Pathfinder 2 ruleset doesn't do anything different with books and story entries than the base CoreRPG ruleset.
Can you provide some screenshots showing the issue you're having please?

So! It has added a new listing to the stories that are in alphabetic order and when I started FGU it displayed it. I apparently zipped past the normal alphanumeric entries above it. Thanks for the quick response.

These are "advanced" story entries that are created from the pages in the module book (reference manual in old term). They are based on the page name in the book so don't usually have the number indexes as these aren't needed within the FG book. As you've found, the normal story entries are still there, they'll probably be in a different category.
