It is taking a very long time for my players to load into my hosted game. And when they do they get the following error over and over

[WARNING] setValue: Database node not owned (charsheet.id-00001.effects.id-00001.calculated_effect)

Then at the end of the repetition it has this

[ERROR] Handler error: [string "PFRPG2:campaign/scripts/manager_char.lua"]:570: setValue: Unable to create node


I have removed all extensions and this is still happening. Any ideas? I am currently on the latest version for both FGU and PF2e.

This is due to the fairly recent change of FG where the clients load all of the PCs. This is not actually an error, it's just a warning that the player side can't process data in an unowned PC. I'll investigate the cause, but as it's a warning (not an actual error) this is not causing any issues and can be ignored.

Trenloe - it does have an error that follows it - I posted it a bit later than the Warning. Is it the same thing?

Thanks for the additional information. I'll investigate. Unfortunately we're in a change freeze with the current test channel testing, so it may be a while before we get a fix.

I know this is an older thread but my players have been experiencing these same issues for months now. Same errors. Are there any updates or recommendations on how to fix this?

The main issue is that my players experience increasingly more severe lag over the course of our sessions, to the point where they can barely move their characters. I'm running zero extensions, and I've even disabled lighting effects in trying to stop the lag. I've also deleted and re-imported their characters to see if the issue was tied to the characters themselves.

FYI this is running the Abomination Vaults module, on floor 9: The Hunting Grounds

Is there anything I can provide for troubleshooting help? Desperate here!

Please provide details of the actual errors. Best way to do this is compile the logs immediately after the error/s occur. I doubt this would be related to the error posted by the OP in post #1. Let's get details of the errors you're having and take it from there.

I've attached logs from last night's session, both the network and console logs. The logs appear to be from after I restarted the server mid-session.
If it's unrelated to this error then I'm not sure what could be causing this lag. I'll also try to do the chatbox method next week to see if I can narrow it down.

There's no error listed in that console log file. Do you have logs that contain the full details of the error?

Seems like it was the enormous map for the level they're on causing the lag. I tried moving some of the battles to a smaller version of the map they were on and there was no lag in the session last night. Thanks for looking through and helping me narrow it down, though!
