I'm finding myself just a little bit confused with the new bestiary entries, and I'm hoping someone can clear it up for me. Just below the creature name and identifier (at the very top), is a summary list of all their basic defenses. Init, AC, fort/ref/will, etc...
Every single entry for the bestiary, as near as I can find, the AC value ON THAT SECTION ONLY, is ALWAYS, 0. That would be the AC value right near the top of the bestiary sheet that has the shield toggle button just to the right of it. Further down in the bestiary sheet, you can enter the AC value and that will update fine, and anything added to the combat tracker will display the AC from the entered value section correctly. It's only that summary bar right at the top that seems to never update the ac value.
Do I have that correct? Is that an intentional choice for some other aspect of automation that I haven't yet come across? Or is there something still waiting to be updated?
I'm just curious cuz it caused some distractions while I was creating new bestiary entries before I figured out the AC was displaying correctly on the combat tracker.
Also, while I'm at it - I've created a couple of bestiary entries for my player familiars and animal companions, and lately my players are having difficulty logging into game - they have a tremendous load time, which if they don't interrupt, eventually just lets them log in, but is accompanied by a huge string of errors - one of my players tracked the error log down to the custom bestiary entries I've created for the familiar/companion. Now, I haven't done anything special to these entries, just borrowed similar bestiary entries and modified the stats to be appropriate for the players companions, including copy/pasted text of various familiar abilities and so on - can anyone tell me what I might need to post in the way of error logs or the bestiary entries I created to help me track down whatever crazy coding error I somehow accidentally added to the bestiary so I can make it easier for my players to log in? Any help would be appreciated...
