Good Day All :)
I was trying to make an NPC in a new 5E campaign with no extensions, took the simple route and drag and dropped to make a copy then adjust. All I had done was add an innate spell to the already existing list of spells. I then deleted all the spell descriptions and tried to parse the "New" NPC. I got an error in the chat saying:

Failed innate spellcasting lookup on 8 spell(s) for (Faerie Dragon (blue) Fizzwidget). Make sure your spell module(s) are open.

Spell lookup failures: color spray, dancing lights, mage hand, minor illusion, grease, major image, mirror image, suggestion

I have the Players Handbook Legacy open so it should parse from there, at least it always has in the past. :)

I tried this and only got the same error when the PH was not open and the spells were not in the Innate Spells Section of the NPC. Interestingly, if the PH was not open but the spells were in the NPC's Innate Spell section there was *not* any error as apparently it was able to populate the copy on the Combat Tracker from there.

I would double check your PH is open. It it is open then I would try reverting it.

FYI the a in "At will" was normally capitalized in legacy monsters like this, ie look at the Drow NPC - but it didn't seem to matter in my testing.

Edit: the only other think I can think of is make sure you don't have the 5E SRD or any other player book open.

Make sure that you have 'Legacy' selected in the Games: Rules Version option. If that is set to 2024 then FG will be looking for the 2024 PHB when it does the lookup. (It isn't sufficient just to select Legacy in the Version option at the bottom of the NPC sheet; that only determines what fields are available).

Good Day Zacchaeus :)
This was it! I never knew the default was 2024. I remember when 2024 first came out I was asked which default I wanted and selected Legacy. So I assumed that anytime I started a new campaign it would use that, I guess that is on me for the assumption! :)
