Importing the free Monthly Monsters available from a Dropbox link in the Arcane Library Discord. I am adding the Sisters of Saint Sofia. They are a grim order of nuns that travel the land far and wide, seeking out demonic possessions and wicked creatures of chaos to bind, destroy, and banish into eternal darkness. My question is about what the best damage type to assign to their spells would be.
The spells in question:
Holy Flames. Deals +2d6 damage against chaotic creatures.
Gaze of St. Sofia (WIS Spell). DC 14. One chaotic creature in far 2d6 damage. Marjory regains 1d8 HP.
Flog (WIS Spell). DC 11. One chaotic creature in near 1d6 damage.
Scourge (WIS Spell). DC 12. Near, one chaotic creature. 1d10 damage.
Holy Flames is easy. Radiant damage. The other three I am leaning towards magic damage, but since they are a holy order of nuns then radiant also fits. What are your thoughts?
