I've recently opened FG after long time and when I tried to redact some maps I see everything flickering, especially black and white colors. This doen't happen anywhere else except FG. What can be the problem and how to solve it?

What ruleset are you using? Have you tried with all extensions disabled? Does it happen to all images in all campaigns or just one map in one campaign?

Can you provide the logs and a zipped up campaign with steps to reproduce?

I'm using 5E ruleset (Legacy). It happens with all the images and even without them. I've bought two expansions recently but before that I have not been using FG actively.

I'm not seeing any issues when I load up that campaign. I'd suggest that you first try re-installing Fantasy Grounds VTT and check that your graphics drivers are up to date.

I've reinstalled everything and updated drivers. Still the same thing. Especially seen on gray background

It sounds like a graphics issue. Maybe check some of your graphics or monitor settings. There's some advice here about syncing FGVTT to your monitor refresh rate which might help. https://fantasygroundsunity.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/FGCP/pages/1638006786/Reducing+GPU+Usage

If none of that helps can you maybe make a short video demonstrating the issue?

OMG Zacchaeus, thank you! I followed the tips there and it turned out that I had G-Sync turned on. I turned it off and it seem to work smoothly now. I'll be checking it from time to time. But it seems that everything's okay

I have also had that issue with a G-Sync monitor. The refresh rate keeps changing and that causes the flicker. I turn off G-Sync within the Nvidia Settings for the Fantasy Grounds program (The setting is called monitor technology). If you don't see Fantasy Grounds in the list, simply add program.

Old thread but bumped into this problem when upgrading and none of the topics had a solution.

The fix for me was using the command "/vsync 1" in the fantasy grounds client - my monitor does like slow refresh rates for some reason.
