Unable to access most book content

Hello! I am very new to fantasy grounds and recently did my first test session with some friends using the SWADE system + the pirates of the Spanish Maine books. One thing that was weird to me is that even though we had all loaded the books under the modules tab, there were many cases where my players were unable to access the pirate's content in various searches, and none of us were able to manage the GM or Player handbook for the Pirates module. In a previous test this was not a problem so im super confused on where to start to figure out what went wrong here. Any suggestions?

Hi, did the players load the books as well? The GM provides the content but the players need to load it too.

Yes! I double checked that everyone had the books loaded. I even had them load the GM ones too just to be sure.

Are they looking in the correct place/same place as you? i.e. Book and Story can be different. Some people always look in Book and not all content has Book entries and should be looked at in Story.

If you can include screen shots of what you are looking at and then what is seen when the players go to the same windows, that will undoubtably help. And don't think we need it in this case, but attaching your logs is never hurtful.

If you are playing SWADE, click on the Options (Tool, top right, looks like a cog) then in the Options window, click Setup, then Next>> then click SWADE Rules. This will load the SWADE rules. Have the players do the same. Post a screenshot of what you are seeing in the Modules window.

We all have been looking under the "books" tab or using drop down tabs in the other menu's (edges, hindrances, items). I can see the content in the relevant menu's. but no player can see the content in the same menu and none of us can see the books under the books tab.

I do not have any of my players free to look into the story tab right now so I will check that later, but from my current experience I would expect that I can see the story tab and they cannot, even after I have shared all the books (I know I probably shouldn't share GM guides with the players this is just for my testing purposes right now)

You might have blocked data between you and your players. It sounds similar or on par with other issues that individuals have had that cannot access data in one form or another.

1.) Have players clear their cache in the settings and redownload the content upon connecting.

2.) If that doesn't work, double check your anti virus exceptions and firewall settings. (Even if it works partially or without issues before, security updates can change permissions around and give false-positives.)

3.) And, coincidentally, data can be blocked on the player's side too.

4.) Perhaps even the word "Pirate" in the data creates a flag for the security. (I.E. Pirate Bay Torrents, etc)

Looking at the Pirate product. It was released in 2016 maybe it needs to be re exported to add Books. They are "new"
