OF COURSE the day I was set to run in a Savage Worlds demo, my pc volume threw snake-eyes and I got an error that wouldn't let me boot into windows AT ALL (no safe mode, no command prompt, nada). And *of course* the XP disc said there was nothing wrong.
And OF COURSE when I got home to reinstall (I just moved), I can't find my XP disc anywhere.
So OF COURSE I am going to have to buy a brand new copy of xp home upgrade tonight. Goodbye, Mr. Benjamin.
Luckily, I can still see the volume via my mac side (just can't write to it unfortunately, curse you NTFS!); so I'm able to retrieve all my characters and the application data folders.
The question I have is after I get done with the install and whatnot, and redownload my copy of FG2, can I just replace the whole application data folder with my backed-up one and it will work like a charm, mods and all?
*crosses his fingers and hopes the answer is yes*.
