Is there any way to implement exploding dice or the knockdown die directly into a weapon? I know I could do exploding dice via a chatcommand, but it's not really convenient and I would love to provide my players with a fully working item, plus the chatcommand doesn't apply directly as a damage roll.

It would require an extension. I wrote one for 5e when I was playing Furious Scum so it is definitely doable.

As Bane said you'd need an extension to do it. The optional PO books (C&T, SP/etc) are not coded as those diverge from the Core books a significant amount.

Thanks for the answers, gotta have to do it by hand or figure out to code an extension myself, which is probably not gonna happen :D
Additonal question while I'm coding in guns and I read through the documentation and can't find any effect that would do it: Any way to get the "Firearms ignore any armor at short range" working as an effect?

There isn't a mode that will simulate that.
