Hi all,
I've been looking for a way to export enough data from our campaign (I host with an FGU license) so that our group can play in person, not with our PCs, at a pending meetup. The existing character export functionality is great, but a lot of the entries that reference module content only have reference data in the xml (like "class.ranger@DD Xanathar's Guide to Everything Players").
I know the dat files for the modules are password protected so you can't peel them open directly, but is there a way to modify the character sheet printer or xsl templates to try and follow those links and replace them with the specific data that players would be used to seeing in our online campaign? I can create a bunch of screenshots but as a software guy myself I'd love to figure out a programmatic approach for some clean html or pdf content.
