If you're looking for an extension that creates a working shop for your player's to use, check out Bayne's Emporium. I recently happened across this in the Forge and bought it. I found it easy to use (the video is very helpful). If you watch the video it does show a "mimic" icon in the store window... that has been removed but it's totally not needed. It is completely simple to drag items into the store and configure the shop so that the items, quantities and prices you want to appear show up for the player shopping. While it may not be perfect for every application you can think of, I really enjoy it and appreciate Bayne's quick update when I noticed something that wasn't working perfectly with the new PHB 2024 default item syntax.
