View Full Version : MGT2E Vehicles in FGU

Question: How do you all handle vehicles with weapons when running MGT2 games in FGU? There does not seem to be a way to add any vehicles to either combat tracker and you can't even add weapons to vehicles. I am curious how other have handled them.

I waited a few years for them to add them and then switched to cepheus engine for vehicles and robots. :-) Remember way back, when the vehicle handbook came out? I rushed my vehicle tokens out hoping that I'd have them available when they added vehicles to the combat tracker. :-( Anyway, sorry I don't have a good answer. I'm just venting. :-) Anyone have a good answer? We almost never have a traveller session without some airraft/s destroyed/lost/damaged.

It may not be the best solution, but I have been wondering about using an NPC or PC records as a vehicle since you can assign weapons, assign them "Hull Points", and put them in the combat tracker. Facing armor would be an issue, but it could be better than nothing.

Vehicle and Ships should have working sheets just like NPCs do.

Though I tend to recreate key NPCs to have better control over notes and character interactions.

I guess I am just looking for a way to work around the current limitations in the ruleset. Why MBM never add weapons to vehicles or made it so we could put them in the combat tracker is beyond me.
