Trying to modify lighting

In my ruleset there is a light type of "projected light" which only illuminates in the direction the player is facing. Can someone please point me to where I would look in the coreRPG ruleset to try and make my own effect for projected light? Thanks.

I don't think that part of the code is exposed.
You could probably mimic something like this by grouping a light source along with some occluders, but no idea where to start with such.
Pretty sure the feature is on the feature request list.
