Stargate Ruleset - NPCs, vehicles and more not loading

Hi

Just picked up the stargate sg1 ruleset from STEAM and loaded it to test it out, After loading both the player and GM modules, opening the NPC or vehicles sections are blank. Additionally I get errors on startup

Responded on Discord as well.
"It was incorrectly released; as it was never finished. Steam was supposed to take it down a couple weeks ago. Please request a refund immediately from Steam, and let them know we approved."

Do we know if this is ever going to be completed / released? I finally found a place (Modiphius) to order the physical book from, as I didn't know it existed until I saw the FGU system on Steam. Did the person that was working on it bale out, or was there a licensing block that caused the conversion to stop?

As far as I know, it was never approved for release by the owner of the IP.
