Hello,

I am having some difficulties with players who are on the xFinity network. I try to share images with them, and they come back blank. All other users who are not on xFinity can see the images, but not the users who are on xFinity. One of the users is able to use his mobile hotspot to connect, and once he does that, he can see the images.

We've tried going into the xFinity gateway and setting up port forwarding, disabling the advanced security, etc. Nothing seems to help. I have attached our system and network logs to help troubleshoot.

If you are using the Cloud then port forwarding isn't needed so that wouldn't help. The fact that the player can get the images when using a mobile hotspot points to the ISP being the problem. Make sure that FGVTT is whitelisted first of all on any Anti virus. If that doesn't help then they'll need to look at their router settings, (flood protect, and QoS being the biggest culprits usually) and since its xFinity advanced security settings (which I believe can only be access via their web page).

It may also be worthwhile starting a new campaign without extensions to see if they can connect to that. If they can then perhaps too much is being shared and the data is just taking a long time to get there. Maybe have a look at closing some modules that aren't being used and make sure that any images you are sharing are reasonably small (less than 4kx4k and less than 2Mb are recommended).

This reminds me of the Advanced Security issue. Xfinity, among others, has a feature they call "Advanced Security" which caused problems in the past. Sounds like it might have resurfaced. More info in this thread:
