Bastion functionality in FG?

Could someone point me to a description on how the new FG Bastion support is intended to work?

The House Rule option can be enabled, which adds a button to the PC sheet on the Notes tab to view the PC’s bastion, and also adds a tab on the party sheet to view the bastions for all party members, and set orders for each room.

Is there any way to have it so party members share just one bastion? It seems like it's set up so that every character has their own bastion when the current campaign I'm hoping to use the rules in (Turn of Fortune's Wheel) has a walking castle I was hoping they would all share.

It was implemented based on the DMG rules. If you want a single party bastion, I would just have one party member own that.
