This campaign has run for three years now and I currently have 5 great people that "mostly" work as a team. Currently players are level 9 - I have material to get you to 20th
what im looking for is another serious player, by serious im referring to someone that wants to be invested in the story and their characters growth.
what I offer is;
a campaign in Faerun that started as a purchased adventure but has been heavily modified and fleshed out, with detailed and motivated NPCs (A good working knowledge of the Forgotten Realms would be very helpful).
This adventure is almost a sandbox, by that I mean things can and have changed because of player actions or inaction.
I continuously state and "show" my players that they will get out at least as much enjoyment as they put in effort.
Cults, Factions and political intrigue all play a role in the adventure.
im using the 2014 5E rules with some house rules. house rules are stated in my discord.
there is a liberal sprinkling of reality in my fantasy, that is to say the world doesn't revolve around PCs and like when I started ,(back in the dark ages" leaving town can be a dangerous plan and sometimes fights are too much and other actions should be tried. sometimes a CONE "AOE" can be a circle
I DONT set myself up as the PCs adversary, im actually your biggest cheerleader!!! holding on to that thought, its best to remember that the NPCs also want resolution to their goals and will work as hard as PCs to be successful.
What im looking for;
a player that is more concerned with how their PC fits into the story and grows, then the flashy things they can do.
A player that has created a "character" with the help of the questionnaire I will forward, that wants to not only survive but thrive. A character that has a past and things/ppl that they want to live for.
this player will take notes because they want to stay on top of the the current affairs to perhaps out think the NPCs, and this player will be willing to follow along and take part in the Discord Chat because that's occasionally necessary. Players have their on private chat box for keeping things plans straight or too have conversations/thoughts internally. I will discuss your plans with you outside of the game.
